Community Hall Charity Shop
The charity shop in the Community Hall will re-open on Friday next January 20th at 11am with a
MASSIVE half-price SALE
The Committee would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers for all their help throughout the year. Also a big thank to all of you who donated and also our customers for your loyalty & generosity.
The Charity Shop was opened in Ballydehob Community Hall in May 2006 with the hope of clearing a large debt that the hall had accrued. Fortunately this goal has been achieved and it continues to go from strength to strength.
The shop is located upstairs in Ballydehob Community Hall and stocks a variety of second-hand goods: Men’s, Ladies & Children’s clothes, a large selection of good books and plenty of curious Bric-a-brac.

Why not come down for a browse? You never know what treasure you will find!
The shop opens every week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 4pm, and is staffed by a group of about 25 dedicated volunteers without whom it, and the community hall itself, would not survive.
The Charity Shop is a registered charity and the largest portion of its monies goes towards the running costs of the hall. Without these donations the hall would not continue to provide a space for sports groups, community groups, classes and local schools to undertake their activities locally.
In addition to supporting the hall, the Charity Shop has also donated to the following groups & organizations:
- Schull Inshore Rescue
- Bru Colunbanus
- West Cork Rapid Response
- Scoil Bhride N. S., Ballydehob, white boards’ fund
- Ballydehob Community Care
- Friends of Londiani, Ireland (Kenya)
- Belorussian Orphanage Project
- Ballydehob Playschool
- Niall Mellon Fellowship
- Lady of Mercy N.S., Skibbereen, special needs unit
- Gabriel Rangers ladies football team
- Breast Cancer Research
- Ballydehob Union of Parishes
Non-cash donations were made to:
- Ballydehob Youth Club
- Feile Atha Da Chab (Trad Festival)
- Ballydehob Jazz Festival
- Schull Community College
- Ballydehob Threshing Festival
