Ballydehob Business & Tourism Association

The mission of BB&TA is to work with other local organisations to develop, promote and sustain the viability of our local businesses. Our work focuses on drawing visitors into the village and reminding residents of the wealth of services available in the locality.

The BB&TA was the main force behind the recent upgrade to the ballydehob.ie website and continues to maintain the website and other social media presence for the community.

Members are currently working with other community groups to improve the aesthetic of the approach into Ballydehob from the N71 and implement a plan to upgrade our Playground.

Recently, Architect Angela Brady applied for the Cork County Council’s Towns and Renewal Scheme Grant on the behalf of Ballydehob village. A summary of this application can be found here: News- Town Village Renewal Scheme 2017

Ballydehob

Ballydehob, the Gateway to the Mizen Peninsula in West Cork is the best of many worlds. It's rural charms, rich heritage and natural beauty epitomise the traditional Ireland that visitors love so much. It is also unabashedly and confoundingly modern in its diversity of people and trade. The area is well known for its artists, writers and alternative types. Now it is home to a growing number of innovators and trend setters, some who found it and couldn't leave, many who left and came back, and mostly those who held down the fort for the rest of us. Our home is rich in tradition, culture, music and craft nestled on Roaringwater Bay along the Wild Atlantic Way. Have we got a story for you! Pull up a stool.
